Hello, GW2 is basically the opposite of WoW, which will turn a lot of people off. The emphasis of the GW2 is on teamwork, exploration, fun, hardcore small group PvE, and balanced competitive PvP. WoW focuses on competing against other players in PvE, grinding for gear, hardcore large group PvE, and unbalanced competitive PvP. (By balanced vs unbalanced I mean eveyone has access to the same PvP gear immediately) Both have their pros and cons and appeal to different types of players. One thing to consider is that since GW2 does not have a subscription fee, and since there is no weekly raid cycle, both games actually coexist quite well.
