Guild Wars 2

First off, I loved Guild Wars 1 and have been watching lots of videos the past couple days nad I am getting pumped about Guild Wars 2. Unfortunately, I was unable to get in on the beta so I have some questions if anyone can answer them?
Is the level cap lvl 20 or something else?
Once you reach the level cap does the game take a turn towards finding items and gearing your toon?
Are there unique items that drop from particular monsters? Which would require farming runs etc.
Any feelings on the game for those that played the beta?
